From the Executive Director of St Anne's Home
The mission of St Anne’s Home, Inc. (SAH) is to provide residential rehabilitation services to women (age 19 or older) recovering from chemical dependency, preparing them to begin a new life physically, mentally, emotionally, vocationally, and spiritually, in an atmosphere of caring, acceptance, and support, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.
St. Anne’s Home is a state-certified 16-bed residential rehabilitation facility.
We provide food, clothing and shelter in a home-like environment that openly gives acceptance and support for a lasting recovery.
Our clients are from diverse walks of life. Many of our clients are professional women who have lost their way and need help to get back on the right path.
We have clients that live throughout the state of Alabama as well as across the southeast.
The type of rehabilitation we offer differs with each client, but a typical stay is from three to six months. The minimum stay is thirty days and the maximum stay is two years.
St. Anne’s Home is a wonderful place to come to rehabilitate and recover from substance abuse. Although the clients come from a wide array of backgrounds, they all share one thing in common - their need for help in controlling bad habits that dictate and destroy their lives. We look at the clients in a holistic way, and work to improve the social, emotional, and physical issues that each client faces. We believe in “helping one woman at a time” to build healthy relationships and restore family and employment to a normal and stable environment. St. Anne’s allows the clients to change old habits and build new ones, habits that allow each client to become productive members of society.
