What is the target population for the program?
Chemically dependent
females age 19 and over.
What does a woman need to do in order to be admitted to St. Anne’s Home, Inc.?
In order
for a client to be considered for admission she must be referred by a
qualified professional. The referral will be reviewed to determine if
the client is appropriate for admission. In addition to a psychosocial
assessment, a copy of the client’s Social Security Card, a TB skin test
performed within the last 12 months, and, if applicable, a
Dual Disorder form must be received. Once these documents are
received, a client is scheduled for admission as soon as a bed is
available. Once approved for admission, she will need to call the
admissions coordinator to check in at least twice a week.

Does residential rehabilitation
address issues other than alcohol and drug dependency?
Yes, each client's
rehabilitation plan is individualized by a certified substance abuse
counselor. The following are some of the common issues that
are addressed:
coping strategies, sexual and physical abuse, stress management,
communication skills, HIV/AIDS education, vocational rehabilitation,
setting goals, and self-esteem.
